NFL Power Rankings For Week 9

The Philadelphia Eagles had an impressive 2022 season, finishing 14-3 and earning a spot in the Super Bowl, only to be narrowly defeated by the Kansas City Chiefs with a heartbreaking 38-35 loss.

However, there seems to be no lingering Super Bowl hangover for the Eagles in 2023. They've bounced back from that painful loss in the championship game to start the season with a remarkable 7-1 record.

Their sole defeat this season came with a close 20-14 loss to the New York Jets in NFL Week 6. On the flip side, they've secured victories over notable opponents such as the New England Patriots, Minnesota Vikings, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Washington Commanders (twice), Los Angeles Rams, and the Miami Dolphins.

With this performance, the Eagles have earned the coveted No. 1 spot in the NFL power rankings as we head into NFL Week 9.

The big question is: How long can they maintain their top position? The road ahead is challenging, with matchups against formidable teams like the Dallas Cowboys, Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills, San Francisco 49ers, the Cowboys once more, and the Seattle Seahawks in their upcoming six games.
