Famitsu, a prominent Japanese publication, recently released the first review of the Super Mario RPG for the Switch, highlighting its new features that significantly improve the gaming experience.

The review, conducted by a team of four reviewers, awarded the RPG a collective score of 34/40 (10, 8, 8, and 8), commending its incorporation of new quality-of-life enhancements.

Praising the game's enriched graphics, the review notes that the visual improvements significantly enhance the overall excitement of the gaming environment.

One of the standout additions highlighted in the review is the introduction of new triple moves, involving all three characters in the player's party. These maneuvers introduce fresh tactical elements, creating a "constant sense of tension" during gameplay.

Nintendo, the game's publisher, mentions, "Originally released on Super NES, Super Mario RPG has been overhauled with new graphics." However, the original game's co-director, Chihiro Fujioka, confirmed no involvement in the new version but expressed delight in Nintendo's decision to remake the game.
