Russian Military Deploys All Reserves, Faces Challenges in Responding to Ukraine's Strategic Moves

In a recent interview with NV Radio on November 8, Ukrainian Armed Forces reserve Colonel and military expert, Roman Svitan, revealed that the Russian military has exhausted all available reserves by committing them to various frontlines in Ukraine.

Svitan specified key areas of engagement, including Avdiivka, Vuhledar, Robotyno, Luhansk, and Bakhmut, stating that Russian reserves are now fully engaged. This strategic move, as per Svitan, limits Moscow's flexibility in responding to Ukraine's increasing presence on the left bank of the Dnipro River in Kherson Oblast.

Transferring troops from one combat area to another, Svitan emphasized, leads to a significant loss of combat capability, requiring replenishment and rest. With no reserves left, this lack of flexibility becomes a critical operational challenge for the Russian military.

Svitan highlighted the inconvenient locations of the frontlines for Russian troop redeployment. The absence of parallel roads at a depth of 40-50 kilometers from the front, beyond the reach of Ukrainian artillery, complicates the movement of Russian forces. This geographical constraint adds another layer of difficulty to Russia's military operations.

Moreover, on November 7, Ukrainian intelligence reported that Russian forces were sabotaging critical infrastructure in the occupied areas of Kherson Oblast by rigging them with explosives. This development raises suspicions that the invaders may be preparing for a potential retreat, further complicating the dynamics of the ongoing conflict.
