Contrary to her 2009 statement about not putting a "bumper sticker on a Bentley," Kim disclosed that she got a tattoo after hosting Saturday Night Live (SNL) in October 2021, a night that marked her infamous on-camera kiss with comedian Pete Davidson.

The revelation unfolded in a home video featured on the reality show, showcasing Kim and her friends opting for matching tattoos at the unconventional hour of 4:30 a.m. Following some persuasion from her crew, Kim chose an intimate location for her first tattoo – the inside of her lip. The tattoo, an infinity symbol, symbolizing limitless possibilities, was inked by celebrity tattoo artist JonBoy.

Despite the inside of the lip being notoriously painful for tattoos, Kim nonchalantly dismissed the discomfort in the video, asserting, "This is nothing," while playfully flipping the bird to the camera. She humorously compared the experience to putting a "bumper sticker on a Bentley," highlighting the secrecy and subtle nature of her choice. Kim admitted, "No one knows, no one sees it. I forget [about it], but every once in a while, I'll be flossing my teeth and I'll see black, and I'll go, 'What's this black in my mouth?!'"

Interestingly, Page Six reported that Kim's brief beau, Pete Davidson, also received a matching infinity symbol tattoo on the same night. Davidson, known for his extensive ink collection, commemorated the SNL episode with additional tattoos, including references to the Aladdin sketch, the initials of Kim's children with ex Kanye West, and phrases related to their short-lived dalliance.
